A Shared Beginning

Nørgaard & Harper began twenty-six years ago in New York.

Anna arrived from Scandinavia as an exchange student in a fashion program. Emily was already studying in the city. Different backgrounds, different sensibilities — but a shared appreciation for structure, craftsmanship, and timeless design.

Between lectures, studio work, and evenings spent attending runway shows across Manhattan, a quiet understanding formed. Fashion did not have to be loud to be powerful. It did not have to chase trends to remain relevant.

What began as a friendship became a partnership grounded in discipline, creative respect, and a long-term vision.
